Those of you who follow my work know that I’ve spent the past year producing my latest feature documentary, The UFO Movie THEY Don’t Want You to See. At long last, we finally have a release date! Everyone can watch it beginning Thursday, August 17, 2023.
First, that big question that’s gnawing at you: “Who are THEY and what’s with the silly title?” Those questions are answered on the FAQ page.
Where can you see it? It will first be available for rental, and then later via subscription (places like Amazon Prime) and purchase (places like Apple TV and Google Play), and finally for free with ads (places like Tubi). We don’t have dates for these yet, but you will be able to rent it as soon as Thursday, August 17. Watch the movie’s home page, and sign up for updates, to get the links as they’re available.
In an age when misinformation, alternative facts, and conspiracy theories have become mainstream, UFOs have risen to become one of the most-talked about pop culture phenomena. With all of this noise, how can we expect anyone to know how much of this is true? What is in our skies? What do we know, and how do we know it? And most importantly: Are we being visited? Science does have most of these answers, and we're working on answering the rest of them. Featuring experts in cosmology, physics, and image analysis, The UFO Movie THEY Don't Want You to See will lay out for you exactly what we know and how we know it. https://theufo.movie
So what kind of movie is it?
This is a science film. It’s about the science of extraterrestrial life: what do we know, and how do we know it. It’s about the science of interstellar travel. It also covers the science behind claims of alien visitation on Earth, by establishing where we should put the bar for the quality of evidence we accept, and then how do we go about using that. It even covers how the government is going about evaluating some of these claims: What are they doing right, and what are they doing wrong?
And it also has President Jimmy Carter.
Bottom line is that regardless of your position on UFOs and alien visitation, this film will make your position better informed with solid science.
If you are looking for a debunking film, or a film that trashes certain UFO personalities, well you might be disappointed. Those are outside the scope of the wonder of science and how it can be used to learn.
If you are looking for a film that credulously retells the same stories you’ve been hearing for years, and trying to do it even more creepy than the last TV series did, well you’ll also be disappointed. Telling stories is also outside the scope of learning real-world science.
Will I like it?
Yes. Yes, you will.
