Belief in chemtrails continues to rise
Every day, tens of thousands of commercial airliners take to the skies with a hidden agenda: to spray toxic chemicals into the sky — or so some of our government officials want you to think.
With each new survey that comes out, we find that more and more Americans are certain that tens of thousands of commercial airliners are secretly spraying toxic chemicals for some evil purpose, every single day, and have been for decades. Their clue is the contrail left behind high-altitude aircraft under specific but common atmospheric conditions, a phenomenon they don’t understand, and so choose to misinterpret that the aircraft must be spraying something up there.
This 2025 survey found that 20% of Americans believe the claim is partly or completely true.
This 2016 survey found that 10% of Americans believe it’s completely true, and a further 20-30% believe it’s somewhat true.
This 2011 survey found that 17% of people worldwide believe it’s true or partly true.
