"Give us money," say the latest UFO whistleblowers to Congress

You don't have to guess why Congress keeps holding UFO hearings anymore. They just told us.

“Give us money,” said the “whistleblowers”, and we swear to confirm whatever beliefs you prefer to have about these UFO invaders.

On Tuesday, September 9, the UFOlogists in Congress held yet another UFO hearing, Restoring Public Trust Through UAP Transparency and Whistleblower Protection, one more effort to get the public behind their cause of revealing the depth to which the aliens have penetrated our world. Reps Luna, Burlison, Burchett, and the other UFO caucus members have made no secret of the fact that they fully embrace the claim that aliens are here and are a national security threat (you know, because of all the destruction they’ve wrought).

They brought as witnesses (or, ahem, “whistleblowers”) random no-name UFOlogists Jeffrey Nuccetelli, Alexandro Wiggins, Dylan Borland, and Joe Spielberger; plus a special luminary, a career fixture in promoting the belief that aliens live among us, obsessed lifelong UFO whackadoodle George Knapp.

“Why are we wasting our time with this, yet again,” you might be saying to yourself. Well, this time, we got the answer as clear as day.

“FUND INDEPENDENT RESEARCH,” said Nuccetelli, in answer to one of the softball questions lobbed to him by the caucus: “What should we do about this?”

That means GIVE US MONEY.

There is a long history of UFOlogists persuading gullible and scientifically illiterate Congresspeople that UFOs are some kind of a threat — despite 75 years of no harm having ever been done — and successfully lobbying Congress to give them money to “investigate” this threat. The most famous case, of course, is Robert Bigelow’s successful owning of the late senator Harry Reid, who wrote a check for $22 million, all of which went to Bigelow’s own companies.

The next generation has learned from Bigelow’s example, and today they offer a wide array of consulting firms ready to take that sweet government money in order to “study” UFO videos and assure Luna and Burchett that yes, they are, in fact, space aliens.

A careful study of the people seated behind the witnesses in the gallery revealed — to those familiar with the current crop of UFO money hopefuls — just about every person who has been associated with some new UFO consulting company. Nuccetelli’s well-coached “FUND INDEPENDENT RESEARCH” recommendation was not made in a vacuum.

Here, now, are some of these new companies founded by the leaders in today’s UFO movement, salivating to capitalize on the gravy train soon rolling into the station:
