Hollywood puts the pedal to the metal in promoting alien bullshit
The Hollywood Disclosure Alliance promises to continue the spread of anti-science bullshit and to accelerate the dumbing-down of the public.

There is one great org in Hollywood that I really approve of: the Science and Entertainment Exchange, a program of the National Academy of Sciences. If you work in Hollywood in any capacity, they’ll hook you up with a relevant scientist who will help you get the science right in your movie or TV show, all at no charge. Because it’s important.
And now, we have a group doing the exact opposite: the Hollywood Disclosure Alliance, whose goal is (according to articles presumably based on their press release) “to provide a more unified voice in the media leading up to and following what researchers have long been waiting for — disclosure of the presence of extraterrestrial life by the U.S. President.” They will team with anyone doing research for a movie or TV show, and bury them with a whole bunch of bullshit in the hopes of getting that content to promote the message that aliens actively visit the Earth. (As if Hollywood needs any help doing that.)
