Cambridge has gained some attention these past few days with a research study that’s open to the public, a Misinformation Susceptibility Test (the site appears to be extremely busy and slow, so please be patient with that link, and with each click).
You’ll rate 20 headlines as real or fake, which takes only a minute or two. Then there are a few demographic questions and the kicker: a self-assessment of your own ability to spot misinformation. I rated myself as good, which was 4 on a scale of 1-5. How prescience was that?
