Sailing the Skeptical Seas with Dr. Flint Dibble
He beat up Joe Rogan and Graham Hancock... and now he wants to take you to ancient archaeology sites

Since I’ve been yammering on about it for some time now, you probably already know that I’m hosting the next Skeptoid Adventure for my regular day-job employer, Skeptoid Media — and we’re sailing the western Mediterranean aboard the world’s largest full-rigged ship. It is a region rife with woo — and with places that pseudo-archeologists like Graham Hancock have vomited their foul false history all over; promoting all kinds of Ancient Atlantean claims, Younger-Dryas impact hypotheses, and anything else that supports the fundamentally racist narrative that ancient brown people could not have built the same kind of great works as ancient white people could; not without help from mysterious ancient Aryan superhumans.
Real archaeologist of the Mediterranean Dr. Flint Dibble (magnificently named for his profession) decided he’d had enough of this nonsense, so in 2024 he went on Joe Rogan to debate Graham Hancock directly, and kicked his ass. Dibble knew his shit; Hancock knew only bullshit.
So, I thought heck — I know Flint — let’s bring him on the Skeptoid Adventure. So he’s coming. He’ll take us through some of the actual places. Flint and I decided to make a quick YouTube video yesterday to show you all. Here it is, please enjoy:
One of the days is an all at-sea day, so we’re taking over the ship’s conference room. A number of our fellow Adventurers will make short presentations, but I expect the highlight will be Flint and I comparing our experiences being put through the Rogan cheese grater. I did mine in 2014:

I was young and naïve and had no idea that I was going into a hostile lions’ den; I had heard that Rogan was a curious guy and considered himself a supporter of public understanding of science. Umm, nope. Big mistake.
A decade later, we all knew Rogan’s game plan much better; so when Flint when on, he did so after weeks of prep, cramming with fellow experts from all around the world, archaeologists who knew all the real facts about stuff Graham Hancock has spent a career lying about.
Flint has given us copious notes on the region and we’re going to try to hit as much of it as we can, all from the home base of this magnificent ship. A web page with all the details is here, and we are certainly hoping you can join us. It’s going to be a true bucket-list trip and a genuine once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Note: this ship always sells out. We will sell cabins until they are all gone, but consider January 10, 2026 to be the practical deadline. After that date, everything is non-refundable and you need to pay the full price up front rather than just a deposit. If you’ve ever dreamed of doing something big like this, well, here’s your chance — possibly your only chance.

I'm a confirmed (and unrepentant) land-lubber, so I hope Skeptoid Media will allow the presentations to be posted, whether vids, transcripts, and/or summaries. Off to watch the You Tube Brian linked.

When will you wipe the shame from your 2014 encounter with a rematch?
