Makes me wonder... why didn't every responsible news outlet do the same research and decide that either 1) there is no story to report, or 2) reporting there is nothing unusual would be a story worth posting? Oh... maybe responsible news outlets did do that.
the same sort of story was out about 20 years ago. About a dozen microbiologists and virus experts and immunologists died, were killed, or went missing, and the occurrences were lumped together as a hint of some sort of imminent, manufactured epidemic.
