Awesome simplification of the 3 body issue. I appreciate it as an astrophysicist myself. I’m also extremely proud of your daughter and hope for nothing but greatness from her work.

That's a 3-body explanation I'll be able to remember. More importantly, congrats to Brian's daughter. Perhaps she'll head toward a PhD, but whatever her choice, best of luck!

Mazel tov to your daughter! I personally am not into astrophysics (I should have majored in biochem in college...), but my husband really likes astrophysics, so I hear a fair amount at home (we both did undergraduate degrees in math, and I think we both would have preferred something else... too late..)

Same reason the Earth doesn’t fall into the sun. They are in a stable orbit.
