I personally am not into astrophysics (I should have majored in biochem in college...), but my husband really likes astrophysics, so I hear a fair amount at home (we both did undergraduate degrees in math, and I think we both would have preferred something else... too late..)

One question.. why don’t the stars collapse into each other? The gravitational force must be massive.
Same reason the Earth doesn’t fall into the sun. They are in a stable orbit.
