Warning: Another crackpot UFO movie coming your way...
Why does the vast majority of UFO programming promote falsehoods instead of facts?
Thanks for reading my newsletter which attempts to separate the bullshit from the reality in our world. Mondays are free to all; Tuesdays and Thursdays are for paid subscribers only:
As the old saying goes, “A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its shoes.” People want sensationalism, not reality. And so we see a wealth of UFO “documentaries” retelling the same old long-debunked UFO tales, just jazzing them up a bit with new people telling them, and fancier visual effects.
Thus, we have God Versus UFOs coming on December 18 to the major streaming services, and it features many of the familiar faces from Skinwalker Ranch, Ancient Aliens, and various ghost hunting shows. It even retells the Rendlesham Forest story which has been exhaustively debunked for decades. I know about it, because I was sent a press release, probably just like about half the podcasters on the planet. But if it’s such an also-ran movie, why the big successful PR campaign?
If I can get 1000 subscribers to my YouTube channel, youtube.com/@thebriandunning, I’ll release The UFO Movie THEY Don’t Want You to See for free there. Subscribe!
Why? Simple. Avi Loeb, Harvard University’s resident “The aliens are already here” guy. He’s been all the pro-UFO TV shows: Fox and Friends, Ancient Aliens, God vs. Aliens, UFOs: Investigating the Unknown, UFO Conspiracies, Joe Rogan, Fox News Primetime, Sean Carroll’s Mindscape, Tucker Carlson Tonight, Lex Fridman Podcast, and the list goes on and on. God Versus UFOs features Loeb as its main personality. It was produced and directed by a guy named Mark Christopher Lee, who I’ve never heard of, which is perhaps why my press release said “Award-winning film-maker [sic] Avi Loeb has released a new documentary.”
But wait until you hear the real reason it’s getting PR.
