I hope that after reading this, you'll forgive me for taking a week off from Brian's Bullshit-Free Zone. (Does this longer-than-usual post constitute "a week off"?)
Thank you for this, I really appreciated this post. It was very well written and like your openness. It is for me a very relatable text and I believe it will be for many others as well, some who may not dare to say what you just said, they instead keep it to themselves, afraid of oversharing.
I think, depending on the forum and time of course, that it's important to talk about these feelings to normalize them. Far too many feel shame over something as simple and human as being sad and crying.
Aw. The part about the horses walking away broke my heart. So sorry for you and the horses. The catharsis will really come when you rip into that house and make it your own! Good luck on your new adventure.
Somehow, people steel themselves through a crisis, then a smaller thing breaks the dam: like, horses clomping away. Mourn losses, embrace opportunities, and live on. Take the time you need. We - your followers - will be here.
Over sharing? I don’t think so. I am honored to be s supporter with whom you are willing to share your story. Hang in there…you got this!
I look forward to hearing of your adventures along this new road.
Pete

Oversharing? No! You've left me with so many questions. I want to hear more.
And now I see you've taken it down. I am grateful to have been one to have read it. ❣️

If you ever need to take a drive just to take a drive, hit me up! There’s lots to talk about and even more to see in our fair state.
